WHO ARE WE?

Hi I'm Shelli!
In 2016, I started creating my own melts ~ melts that were all natural and  contained zero carcinogens, reproductive toxins, or other potentially hazardous chemicals often found in most melts. 

After gifting some to friends and family and receiving positive feedback, I started creating candles as well.  Each candle is hand poured with care and given individual attention.​  That went over extremely well and....viola!  In February of 2017, Chico Candle was launched as an e-Commerce store!   


Fast forward to 2021 - we have moved to the East Bay of California where we continue to create some amazing luxury products.  Along with our Melts, Classic Tumblers, Tins and Reed Diffusers, we've recently added some amazing handcrafted Gift Decor to our store.  And this is how East Bay Candles & Gifts was born!!

When I first started back in 2016, I focused on sharing my candles at local Vendor Events, Pop-Ups and on-line channels.  I relied on word of mouth for advertising and still do to this day!  My goal is to one day open a brick & mortar where I can share not just my products, but those of local homemade hand crafters & artisans!
